OCD
If you have OCD, you may have intense, anxiety-causing thoughts (obsessions) and feel compelled to perform repetitive behaviors (compulsions) to reduce anxiety. Common obsessions involve contamination, harm, perfectionism, or taboo thoughts. Common compulsions include excessive cleaning, repeating behaviors, and checking. We can help you manage OCD by providing support, helping you resist compulsions, and teaching coping strategies. Our goal is to improve your quality of life and help you regain control.
Depression
If you suffer from depression, you may feel sad, hopeless, worthless, or empty. You may also lose interest in activities you used to enjoy or have thoughts of harming yourself. We can help you manage your depression by providing you with emotional support, helping you identify and change your negative thinking patterns, and teaching you strategies to cope with stress and improve your mood. We can work together to help you find meaning and purpose in life and reconnect with yourself and others.
Trauma
If you have experienced trauma, you may struggle with flashbacks, nightmares, and intense feelings triggered by reminders of the event. You may avoid trauma-related things and feel emotionally numb. We understand how difficult living with trauma can be. Our goal is to provide support and teach coping skills to manage symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, and depression. With techniques like EMDR, grounding, coping methods, and gradual exposure therapy, it is possible to regain control and start healing. We are here to listen, validate your experiences, and help you recover.
Anxiety
If you suffer from anxiety, you may experience excessive worry, nervousness, fear, or panic in certain situations. We can help you manage your anxiety by teaching you coping skills, challenging your negative thoughts, and exposing you to your fears gradually. We can also help you identify the root causes of your anxiety and address them in a safe and supportive environment. We can work together to help you regain control of your life and enjoy it more.

Individual Counseling
The Resilience Project Therapy offers one-on-one virtual counseling sessions that cover anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, self-exploration, and other needs for adults, ages 18 and above, who live in Texas.
Some insurances are accepted.
